"Only" two letter mistakes on Thursday’s express #crossword. 16 across for ‘hodgepodge or mishmash’ was olio not oleo and 43 across for ‘weigh down’ was lade not lode. And I was so hoping that I had nailed this one.

On a tour of #GeorgetownUniversity, here’s an example of #neomedievalarchitecture. This iPhone 4S picture was taken on an exceptionally beautiful midmorning day. It is quaint, incidentally, to read about clothing requirements for students in the pre-Civil War era of ca. 1830: “[O]ne suit of clothes for uniform, two suits for daily wear, six shirts, six pairs of stockings, six pocket handkerchiefs, three pairs of shoes, a hat and a cloak, also a silver spoon.” A silver spoon? Hmm.
So I was at Rodman’s when I heard a voice asking d’you have Eksit 4. Huh? Eksit? What? Ah! Je vois. Exit 4. I turned and inquired is it a good one? And he said, with a smile, yes very, you won’t be sorry. Well here I am back home in front of some thinly sliced Krakowska sausage on dark bread and a glass of said #Exit4 to boot. And is it good or what?! Yes, oh yes.
